Following the launch of the Dr Leela Scholarship Program, we are beginning to see the early impact of consistent support in action.
Prachi, one of the program’s scholars, has continued to excel in school. She maintains strong attendance and consistently high academic performance, and was recently recognised for her achievements by her school. Her ambition to become a doctor remains clear and unwavering, something she speaks about not as a distant goal, but as a responsibility.
Through the scholarship, Prachi’s school fees, books and uniform are fully supported. This removes the financial pressure that once placed her education at risk and allows her to participate fully in school life, both academically and socially. What this highlights is simple. Impact is not created at the moment of launch. It is built over time through consistency, trust and continued support.

The Dr Leela Scholars Program is designed to ensure that girls like Prachi are able to stay in education without interruption. For many families, small financial gaps can quickly become barriers. Our role is to bridge those gaps early, before they shape long term outcomes.
